Chicago (July 20, 2023) – The H&K Perforating Companies expertly punch holes through metal for industrial clients while striving to support the community they call home. In that spirit, they are hosting a Back-to-School Fest at 5655 W. Fillmore Street, on Friday, August 18, from noon to 3 p.m.
“As we celebrate our remarkable 100-year journey in our Chicago location, we are filled with immense pride and gratitude,” said company President and COO Andrew Strang. “This back-to-school event marks not only the start of a new academic year but also a wonderful opportunity for us to give back to the community that has supported us throughout the years. The event will celebrate the approaching academic season with food, giveaways and activities aimed at a high fun factor. These include performances by the Jesse White Tumblers.
DJ Nick NonStop will provide music, and radio partner Crawford Broadcasting will be on hand and on air with POWER 92’s DJ Nehpets. Also on hand will be community partner Safe Haven, a Chicago Public Schools program. Giveaways will include school supplies (notepads, pencils, pens, arts and crafts and more). A raffle will disperse prizes such as gift cards, iPads, and Beats by Dre merchandise.
